Today's Health Tip

The following is an excerpt of some of the publications in the Health and Success Kit.

 

 Today, make a concerted effort to act on the following for increased mental and physical health.

* What are your purpose, mission and goals? What do you really want to do? If you only had five years to live, what would you do? Start planning for your happiness.

* Increase your intake of nutritional foods. Drink more water and less caffeine and sodas. Breathe deeper and longer. Quiet your mind by daydreaming for about one minute every hour.

* Have a stress reduction team. Who will you contact when things are getting difficult? Make a list of at least five people. Phone one or two and tell them your sad story. But, also listen to their issues as well.

* Congratulations! Today you remembered to bring that steel curtain that shields you from arrows and rocks. Today everything will roll off your back and nothing will stick to aggravate you. Think: I am in control and there is nothing that anyone will say nor any unexpected situation develops that will disturb me.
